Gender and Development
Structural marginalization and exclusion of women and youth in public affairs and decision making creates imbalance for participatory governance. LDI works with women organizations and CBOs to build their capacity in advocacy, lobbying and promotion of women representation and participation in leadership and political affairs. This is pursued through a range of interlocking activities including public forum where women leaders are encouraged to participate in public debates as a means of building self-confidence of grassroots women for public speaking.
