Law Reform and Decentralization
LDI’s decentralization approach focuses on socioeconomic, political and administrative dimensions. The availability of essential social services at the village and town levels, community participation in economic policy formulation and implementation; decentralized budgeting system; and the political decentralization and devolution of powers constitute LDI vision for a decentralized Liberia. LDI also works with local government administrators to enhance their capacity in run off to Liberia’s decentralization effort.
